Sumbandila - "show the way"
Marwyn has been deeply committed to Sumbandila from the project launch in late 2007. The Marwyn team took an active role in contributing to the foundations of Sumbandila’s charitable aims. For the inaugural academic year which began in January 2008, 9 children were selected from over 500 applicants and 40 finalists, 7 of these 9 were fully sponsored by the Marwyn team for their entire five year scholarship prgramme. Since the first year group in the video, another 8 children joined the programme in January 2009, 7 of whom were guaranteed a minimum of 3 years full sponsorship contributed through the Marwyn Trust by its generous donors.
